In collaboration with the Ridgeland Block Club Association and Oldways, I completed a train the trainer session for the Oldways curriculum on A Taste of African Heritage. Oldways would like to expand the availability of the curriculum throughout the midwest and has offered these regional training sessions in order to engage a new cadre of teachers.
I am available to facilitate classes directly with community organizations that might have access to small to medium kitchen facilities. I also now have access to the regional trainer for the Oldways session. If you have a group for whom you would like a train the trainer session facilitated, I may be able to help you bring this valuable instruction on traditional African diaspora dietary traditions to your community.
